Check the map earth resistance and then check the output at key on without the engine running.I'm sure when ours did it was bad/no earth was so cranky sounded like a nitro car fixed the map and it was smooth as a baby

Yeah I'd say your right though. The car was running sweet before, only things I've changed is injectors and map sensor. I'll check it tonight but just to be sure, I've got 16 new plugs and ordered a new map sensor

Put stock one bar back on set bin fir 1 bar to verify that at least. That will be fine for idle in neutral revving. No boost

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I'll check the msd 2 bar as well with the multimeter

Like you said. Even with the stock 12p it should still start an run ok. It's only a 284 cam. There's got to be something else going on there. It's running way too rough. I'll check the map sensor, change the plugs and retard the boost timing and give it another go. Also wouldn't hurt to look into buying a new web o2 sensor soon as well I've had this one for a bit now

Another thing. Do I need to set or change anything in 12p to get the factory detonation sensor and board to work

Yeah I know about the basic and advanced 12p guides there bloody awesome. But from what I've looked at in them it doesn't actually say anything about the knock board and sensor. I've only just fitted it, running the sensor in factory spot than wired into b11 as per the 12p wiring print out and with a 1f board fitted. Is it just a simple case of once hooked up, it'll work with out having to manually flag it or tick some box in the flags or operating Params ect
