No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: Gregs Fleet
lol. autopsy. auto-psy
fuck i am a sad cunt. i found that funny.
anyway the oil is dumped on the track shitter. there was too much in there. so its all out now. which is good.
and clean shit is in there. the stuff that came out wasn't too bad, which means it was dumped not long before i bought it because it was fucked, and, they just wanted to fuck it off, or, its actually OK in there. must admit was clean when the rocker boxes came off.
the sump plug is diff too on the early VT Eco. its small like the VN one and takes the small copper washer, unlike my and her VX which takes the big fuckoff washer.
i took the drivers rear caliper off. i had to pry the caliper off gently to get it over the lip. i measured the rotor, and, it seemed like it was only 15.5mm. that didn't seem right.
ah. lip too big for verniers. measured lip. 0.7mm = 1.4mm. thats more like it. wait. 16mm rotor, 14mm replacement time. 1.4mm from 16 is about 14.6mm. yep they are going in the bin. i want this fucker to actually stop on the track from 100KMH+

Re: Gregs Fleet
could be, but certainly had no slipping issues, opposite frankly. It banged into gears violently and even chirped the wheels on up/down sifts until the TV stopped working and always kept downshifting randomly and getting stuck in 1st until I disconnected the cable and drove it manually. Then it started making loud clicking sound every revolution, started gushing fluid.Holden202T wrote:sounds a lot like friction material vlad!

Re: Gregs Fleet
well that turned into a raging bag of failure.
rear rotors off, calipers off, pads out, new rotors on, new pads in, calipers on. bleed brakes. black sludge. lots of it. get that thru, clean fluid, continual air. nothing but air thru my suction brake bleeder. shithouse.
now the pedal goes to the floor and the warning light comes on. awesome!
from changing pads, rotors and bleeding. right. will have a crack with the old school bleeding method tomorrow. still too fucking hot.

Re: Gregs Fleet
this is where i find the biggest syringe i can and fill it with fluid and push the air out the master cylinder, 2person manual bleed is better again
