So gravity bled the rears this morning, pedal is back, but still not right.
Need an assistant for the old school method, and, everyone here seems to be too busy.

why can't you just bleed it normally? open the valve and pump the pedal slowly until no more air bubbles in the tube and jar.

The usual close nipple, pump, foot to floor, open nipple, close nipple wash rinse repeat? No?

Only ever had to do that on a 74 dodge truck with all wheel drums as it seem to have issues with priming the MC unless there was some pressure to begin with. Every other vehicle I have bled its just pumps out in one direction, you just attach a clear tube to the nipple in a jar of some brake fluid and pump it and watch until only clear consistent fluid comes out, close the nipple and go to the next wheel.

I do all the rear and front separate to each other. ie do rears first and then the front only or vise versa.

yeah hairy muff VSH. i use the other way. my boy gave me a hand. he is strong enough now to get the pedal to the floor etc.

oh. i thought you were here in AU immo. cool now i have a reason to come to NZ :) awesome

so........i now have a bit more of a pedal. was rock hard - lovely. then i started the car, and it its spongy and all shit like. i think my booster is fucked. i get this awful whooshing sound every time i press the pedal ...... i don't think my VX does that need to check.
