Small update, things have been progressing slowly

Finally got to a point where the code was ready for Holden202 to test. Its been running in his ecotec torana for a couple of weeks now and so far so good. There is an issue with VE learn leaning just off idle VE cells too much (either a bug or possibly just closed loop proportional gain settings) so gotta sort that out. He has also tested the code on a different 202 using a camira module so thats all go too.
It will get there eventually!

Just a quick update, ose12p is running my gemini great, 30hz logging is working nicely, and the included input filtering seems to work a lot better than on kalmaker. All is looking good for 4cyl use

might sound silly but is it possible to change the VE table to have resolution where you want? IE less down low say 20-30 i have engines idling at 70+ Kpa and need more resolution around the 50-80 kpa area as i never see the 10-30 areas.
Thanks in advance

Hi, while possible code time is a big issue so gotta be careful on the overhead. In 12P there is a closed throttle VE (its a 2D table thats RPM vs VE) table so no matter what the idle kPa is you can tune on RPM. It does not help the off idle stuff though.
I will look at the options and work out if its possible, the flex table stuff uses axis scaling so the code would be very similar to that.

depends on what you call big 256-268@50 560-590"lift 110-112 LSA so yeah quite large but making some nice numbers just be good to be able to have control where required say 20,35,50 60 65 70 75 80 90 100 or just add the 65 75 kpa area's to the std every 10kpa.
we are talking engines that are making 500+hp 355 & 383's

even though the kpas are higher im suprised you can't get it idling ok .... do you have any logs of it at idle ?
one thing i've noticed with my 202 (its not a huge cam) it seems to like more fuel at idle, like 13:1 - much leaner and it hunts whereas the old v6 can idle at 13.5:1 happily .... i guess though theres only so rich you can make it ....
but i reckon the VE tuning options that VL400 mentioned might help fix you issue.
