There is one on this car, but looking at the thread its a typical case of all pics are of the bits we arnt interested in now!

I also have camira looms and injectors and fuel rails, but left the TB behind because, not really big enough for the stuff Ive been doing and high cost from u-pull-it when there are also VNs.

Im just looking at suitable small TBs for use in twin TB plenum design Im contemplating.
V6 ones are bit too big to have 2 of them for a v6.

Have a look here. Description of the MexiBug engine.

The engine temp is measured at the #4 cylinder head. That aside it may help with part numbers etc

If I can source all the bits I'll go with PFI, then CHT will be the best place to monitor the engine temp. Looks like the engine is coming back out!
I'll start the design for the plenum casting too. I'll have to get hold of an AMR500 supercharger for sizing first. With 1600 cylinders on a 1300 block compression should be quite low and suitable for 9psi even with stock internals.

im not sure the code differences between the TBI bins and PFI bins, but there was a bit set for the TBI compatible bins for "use TBI AE"
the one I tuned for TBI was a 350 chev with one of those FAST throttle body injection units in place of the carby. it did stumble a bit, but I ended up adding a bit more AE, and changing the duration so it took longer to decay. it was probably a borderline on some cylinders and too much on others but it got rid of the stumble. I believe the problem is on PFI it injects all the AE pulse at once, and some cylinders suck it in leaving others with none. you need to spread it over a few pulses so that all cylinders get a chance to get some of the fuel.
on PFI the point is moot.... the fuel sits on the back of the valve until it opens.

What about a pair of pulsar TBs? It's the one in the middle, compared to a v6 TB on the right.

What's the one on the left? And its size?

So 12P does the initial non-synchronous AE pulse, then adds a determined amount to the synchronous pulses, decaying at a set rate? That sounds like it should be fine for a TBI setup. Wind up the AE value and have a fast decay, considering the length of the runners and the fact that they have an already rich mix in them it might just be OK...
