I got a popup that said that driver download failed is this why I cannot find the comport and get communication going
If I try the old 165 memcal with the 12p pin out will that fry or work and indicate that t problem is with the nv ram.

I haven't compared the wiring. But whats different between the 165 stock wiring and what you have now with 12P?
I'm assuming at least power and grounds are the same.

Just seems the charge from maf to map and a few sensors that have changed so should probably be ok will have to try at the weekend

I think a stock 165 memcal will run it and should log with the right adx. The right up to date adx is critical.

Got the car running but not very well won't idle but can't get communication tunerpro says no hardware found .

Trying to download the oseplugin but it fails to open acrobat reader says it is not supported and is damaged as it may have been sent as email and cant open

It's not a pdf type file. Its a .dll file. In the FAQ is a link to where to place the file and set up in tuner pro.

Yep there is a setup pdf in the oseplugin thread though. The download with the plugin is a zip. The dll is extracted from it. Windows can open a zip just by douple clicking. No extra software is required for that step.

Using a different laptop but still can't get communication with tunerpro when l click on the connection icon it starts initialization but fails and says hardware not found have tried changing the diagnostic request wire in A8 and A9 and have checked the obd pinning.
