Cant seem to find any more ecus on fleabay or gumtree. Well.. no-one is willing to split the ecu from the engine on gumtree.
Is this a gen4 ecu, is it the same as a LS2?:

I really am surprised how much people want for ECUs, I honestly dont get how stock standard units go for so much even though they need to be professionally fitted!. I think currently, the cheapest VE v6 unit is 180+.. wtf?

I cant even see where my last version is.. its lost in the mist of data posted up haha.
Slewinson, Id suggest just waiting for the next version. It has a tonne of fixes to the setup, along with a variety of other features and a working engine data viewer.

E40 is the ECM used only for LS2s, Tazzi.
The other gen IV (L98/L76/L77) are the E38 ECM.
It's crazy, I thought I might have needed a new 1MB LS1 PCM recently - was looking at the wrong side of $200 there too.
You can't even pick up plain old LS1B ('411) PCMs for cheap.

But yeah as the MAD CREATOR mentioned it would be more stable waiting for the new version!
