the TB's are different but the sensors are the same, although I have heard they rotate the opposite way ?

I had the same thought about the rotation but it's just something I heard.

yep, the sensor is same voltage and range, just work in the opposite direction... ecotecs and camiras rotate the throttle plate the opposite direction to buicks and v8's. found out the hard way...lol if you are using the ecotec sensor on the ecotec throttle body it will work fine.

Thanks guys. A mate tells me they also run a different end on the accelerator cable compared to earlier models.
Im fitting it to a Kingswood so I will have to see if it still suits.

ecotec accelerator cable uses a clip on ball end on it, can buy them from most auto shops!
i like the ecotec accelerator cables, they are massively long and work well for carby old holdens

Been hunting around for parts for my own 202 conversion, have you ever come across a JD Camira throttle body? They have a 4 bolt connection as per the VK manifold. Wondering how the spacings line up? Although according to somewhere I read it's a 50mm bore as standard.
