I had shifter in 3rd on the street like I did last night. That's why I thought I wouldn't of had an issue.

Did you get a datalog from any of the runs?

Because it went into limp mode it suggests the PCM thinks something went wrong so there should a fault code there.

Edit: Actually, I believe @Deuce had a similar issue, it was faulting out on TPS voltage high error and going into imp mode on a full throttle run.

Na I didn't cause I'm having trouble connecting to the ecu.

Shouldn't it do it on the street as well?

In theory yes but cars do funny things. But try and see if there are any stored fault codes.

Will they still be there if the battery has been disconnected? I have a kill switch in the boot on my +ve battery cable.

Still trying to sort out my connection issues...

No, they will be lost of the battery has been disconnected.

Might have to try replicating the situation when you have your connection issues sorted.

Yeah I'd say so. If I can get a log at the track it would make things alot easier....

Yeah mate, as immortality said, I would go 1-2 fine. But at WOT in 2nd around 4300rpm (ish) it would have a shitfit and throw a code, upshift, increase line pressure, go super loose on the converter and throw the run away.
Off/on and it resets back to normal.
I could manually hold 2nd to power through the fault and hold gear until 6ish. It would flash a fault code and go away, but converter was still loose, and it didn't ruin my run.
From memory it was 46? TPS % too high.
I think I ticked masking for #46 fault code so it ignored that. It seems fine now ;)
Although the new problem is a super lazy 2-3shift so I need to command it much earlier (to stay off the limiter)

Interesting, good to know. Cheers for that.

What happens if you pull the trans fuse?

Maybe it might be better shifting the shifter manually through all gears to try eliminating the faults like you say Deuce?

But it will still shift when the numbers are met in the tune even tho shifting manually, is that right?
