in all reality we may be going faster than we realise if the end beams are a wee bit far down the track et will be wrong no idea how well the lights were setup for the day its not like it was setup to measure records was just to measure in general LOL

I've just been out in the shed playing with 2 step settings, managed to get 2psi on the converter (the old one 2000rpm) so hoping to improve my 60 foot at WSID soon ..... best so far with boost has been 2.1 or something like that! and that was hitting boost about 5-10 mtrs off the line!

yeah our convertor is getting too sloppy now. we get up too far in the revs to build boost ,it makes so much torque before it hits boost that both foot brake and handbrake cant hold it.next up drift style hydraulic rear brakes :D.i think if we transbraked it shit will break.

my old stock convertor in my vn would go above 7 psi on the brakes but it didnt do it many times before it must of bent the fins and started stalling its self LOL

what does the 2 step sound like now have you got it popping and banging again thats when shit starts building boost LOL

heres a video I took for VL400 trying some different stuff for the 2 step settings

at the start there was changes like 100rpm between upper and lower cut then 10rpm, 50rpm, 200rpm etc etc... then you can hear in the video I click the shifter through the gears I was then using the brake to load it more and it was making boost, but I think I need it to be on the ground to stop the wheels turning at all and loading the turbo up more.

what do you do when you end up with a $200 statesman? you spool it add some gears and a tune and go smash its arse on the pad more vids on my channel.shame we didnt add a surge tank to the list of mods swirl pot issues meant no sliding on the pad without the engine dieing
