yeah its got me a bit stumped, it sounds a bit flat in third in the in car video, and it also had a stutter just before the end of 2nd, makes me wish I had a log of the ignition module at the same time!

the logger does multiple messages now so why not make one adx that logs message6 and the ign module at the same time through the logger? or does the ign module not have a serial data line you can tap into?

hmm im not sure, might be something VL400 can answer .... would be nice if the logger could log both at the same time.

The module would need a hardware and firmware change for that. Initially was going to make it 8192 baud and one wire ALDL but it meant for some another data interface and more wiring. So for simplicity it uses USB with logging at 38400 baud, but does make it harder to log in this case

even with the mods, would it be able to log into the logger though ?

Yeah it uses ALDL frames, but at a higher baud rate. Would need to drop that to 8192 to match the ECU and add hardware to allow for one wire ALDL. The ECU would also need to be one wire ALDL.

It can be done :)

sooo ... that would then mean i'd need to use a 16 pin obd interface to connect the logger instead of the serial interface i use now ?
