Cheers thanks guys. I do recall seeing the wideband section somewhere it but couldn't remember where exactly.

Might be a silly question but when I remove the pull up resistor am I supposed to bridge the remaining gap with solder or leave it open?

leave it open, otherwise bridging it will short it to ground i think?

Hi guy's , i think i have bitten off way more than i can chew, i dont mind wiring but im a new comer to custom looms and understanding EFI and PCM modding. i have a '97 VS ute with a 4L60E (soon to be turbo) and trying to wire up a '424' auto PCM to use a MAP and wideband, then learn RT tune etc. I am attempting to wire the car with no BCM and keep things as simple as i can. upon re-pinning i have pins im not sure of, A12 =B9(BR/W) Cranking Input (mine is brake fail lamp?) and C5 =D11(BLU) TPS Signal (should it be B11) are there any other tips or pitfalls i should know about while wiring this loom? im sure i will have many question to come, i need hands on to learn so the rewire is a good way to see where it all goes. cheers

C5 is TPS, B11 is unused.
A12 cranking input is only on V6, it will be unused on a V8. Its to do with the V6 DFI module operating in wasted spark and to prevent backfires.
You can keep the VS BCM, it will work with 11P. Just need to set the VS VATS option.
Might be better to start a new thread and ask questions as you wire it up. Will hopefully serve as a good guide for anyone else attempting this same conversion/rewire.

Another diagram here ..
http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=1352
But there are some errors even in the factory diagram, knock sensor shown page 1 is on B11 is for the manual ECU but on page 3 its shown correctly on pin D5.

On bigger throttle bodies is there a way to adjust the range?
On a 90mm throttle body max range I can get is starting at 8% & goes to 70%
