Nah I didn't check that but everything looked fine the harmonic balancer was in good shape I made sure to line up the key way

Put a spark plug in a lead and earth it to the engine. Then turn I over for a bit and see if it keeps sparking.

Yep I've tried that aswell man and had good spark, Don't mind the dodgy air intake in theory it should work fine lol

In all honesty mate, I think you will have to start checks from the beginning. I think you are going to have to get a compression test to see if the cylinder pressure is ok before going any further. The fact it won’t run on starting fluid only really leaves compression or spark. If it has compression then it might mean that the harmonic balancer might have to come off and check.Did you get the earth wire on the back of the passenger head back on ?
