Tuning VR V8 AUTO TURBO

wont start with any of the tunes bar the one tuned to the big injectors will drown it pretty easy

i forgot to take out the 2 bar..maybe thats why?

dont you have 60lb injectors they will drown the plugs quick smart on a tune for 24lb injectors just slap the turbo tune back in

im sure the timing gun should flash even when cranking it over but it doesnt..

oh i wouldnt even boost on 24lbers mate they are way to small time for 60lb seimens dekas i get 8.7psi of boost out of 39lbers at high injector duty cycle you will be grossly lean on boost with 24's

i agree mate. plan is to get bigger when its tune time..
i just want it to idle for now lol
was going for green top 42's..

in the turbo v8 I tuned, it was at about 57% duty cycle @ 10psi boost on 60lb Siemens.

That rcctune looks like it was made for boost and would be safe to run on your turbo motor,it has a very conservative spark map.Only prob you may have with it is if it suits your injectors.Looks like its set for blue tops.

That would have you up around the 550hp mark.
(60*8*67%*11/60 = 59lb/min * 9.5 = 560hp)

Is that a fair guesstimation ?

I double checked the log. at 5000rpm it was 164kpa manifold pressure, 57% DC injectors, 12:1 AFR. I dont think it would have been 550hp, the engine is unopened, that would nearly snap somehting internal lol. tho the butt dyno says it was in the 400's somewhere

oh really. it was supose to be for boost, and suits blue top injectors 1 bar. so it is what its meant to be??
But like u say, injectors will max out anyways..
could i use that tune and fix up the injectors??

Just went threw the rcc tune and yeah looks like to me, a novice, that the main spark table is perfect for what i have..????
