Comparing my VE tables, huge! difference from the VR lol. around 15 to 20% less, especially in the mid and low, around 10% less in the high.

Economy has improved massively and the table is really well defined, VE learn FTW!

Only its not that good at just off idle, I have one cell that is the transition point from closed loop idle to normal mode and the VE lean made a massive lean spike on just that one cell, causing the car to hunt if the rpm is brought there in neutral. Also bunny hopping like a spastic on that one cell lol. I can fix that latter.

Otherwise fueling is spot on in all the VE lean corrected areas. Its amazing how well it works if everything else is set correctly.

Once its done, I will enable lean cruise and start dialing that in for best economy possible.

Similar curve to the VR? What's different between the 2? Different comp is one thing.
Exhaust and cold air intake?

only difference is exhaust, extractors are the same. It has a stock intake but open bottom so it does breath much better than a stock airbox. In saying that, the VR VE did not change with the CAI vs airbox, only that the higher Kpa areas become reachable with the CAI due to less restrictions.

the curve is very different.

Injectors are different but both the VR and VP have all the injector calibrations spot on as The1 did them so the VE sould not change with either injector and the VE differences are heap grater than the injector differences (5%).

only thing i can think off is either exhaust or loss of engine vac due to being so worn and once seized from overheating.

it once was very powerful and got 800km per tank and got worse over the years. false knock is what mainly contributed to loss of power but not sure of the economy, has picked up a bit now with this tune. getting around 650 at a guess so far without lean cruise.

Prob the amount of k's, lost comp and etc etc, it all adds up that's why they self learn as the motor wears out ?

yep, BLMs but its only few % iirc, not the difference I got on this. Once the BLM is pegged one direction, thats it, it wont adjust any further.

That VR of yours does have a very good exhaust, better than the standard big bore types, I know the bloke that welded it up
