Interesting. Was just curious as there seems to be the occasional post with people wantIng to do away with the fuel cut but no body seems to have mentioned switching a relay to kill power to the spark system. Guess now I know why. Pity it can't be done safely somehow as with the possibilitys with the range of axis to use in the flex tables would allow for some great extra features like maybe the ol two step type setup. But yer won't be playing around with a good engine that's for sure! But I have a stock Buick running 12p here.

With a little bit of smarts it could work, but you wont be able to use a normal mechanical relay due to how fast it needs to switch for a proper 2 step - and its not as simple as just on/off to get a nice clean rev limit at low RPMs, really need to drop single events randomly with the frequency of drops increasing higher in to a rev limit window instead of big blocks of multiple spark events (with big blocks you get the same slow effect as the current fuel cut rev limit).
