Hi All

Got myself a 2nd VY PCM to clone and use, however having some issues with the write failing.
Get a pop-up saying Write Fail.

The PCM now identifes with the new mask and new VIN but obviously somethign isnt writing, as it won't run.

Have attached a copy of the the flash tool log if that might help find whats falling over.

Cheers

Have you tried reflashing it? Tried on the bench and all seems to work ok - with and without a good checksum, if you get the popup saying the checksum is wrong use the calculated one and reflash otherwise the PCM wont reset properly. Cant see anything in your log to indicate a setup issue either, so may have been a bus glitch or software issue that stopped it short of finishing.

The car wont start as the last bytes of the EEPROM have all the security so will be from the other vehicle still.

Hey Guy's,

Don't want to come off being lazy, but is there any chance there can be an icon made for each mode of the flash tool rather than changing preferences each time?

Ie; mode for bench testing vt-vy
mode for on car testing vt
mode for on car vx - vy
mode for on car vt-vy S/charged
mode for vs on car

& so on!

But honestly if I'm just being lazy or it's too hard it's no big deal just a thought I had!

Flashtool V1.33 released.

- Added support for OSE 12P V111
- Added a quick vehicle selection drop down item in the preferences. Just select the comm port and your vehcile type/setup  Interface echo setting is selected based on the vehicle type, might need to confirm its correct if your doing something bad like an 808 comms board in a one wire ALDL PCM.

Its used for updating ose 12P cal files when I release new versions of 12P. Can then easily use your own tuned cal rather than starting from scratch and manually transferring over all the tables and scalars.

It will detect what version the cal you have is, and the what you pick is the version want it to convert it to (usually the latest, currently v1.1.1).
