202 turbo is back in the hands of the owner had to turn boost down to 10psi 14 was too much in the wet for the owner even with a good lsd and 295's on the rear.even 10 psi boost hits in 3rd and it just slides up the road sideways LOL.give it a few weeks and ill get it back and lean on it some more and give it back with some more boost.

if theres one thing i've learnt about turbo motors, its that the power delivery is nothing like a N/A motor ..... and thats why we like them hehehe

haha heads coming back off again lol high pressure pump died from a loose corroded connection today and i think the owner may not have realised and boosted on what pressure was blowing through the surge to the rails from the feed tank.it wouldnt start and i went and got it going after getting fuel pressure back and it ran on five and then cleared up thought it was all good but got 5 or 6 km and a got the phone call that its making a hell of a racket get to the car and its blown number 2 clean out the side of the head under the headers sounded like holden 202's drag car at the end of its run when it pushed the gasket.gonna pull it down decompress the head chambers and fit some higher grade bolts.its been getting thrashed for the last 3 or 4 days

when i pulled the plugs a few days ago the front 2 were leaner looking than the other wonder if its got a fuel restriction on the fuel inlet bend to the rail

thats the same cylinder i blew out too !!

if its the original vk efi fuel rail then it wouldn't surprise me, its not the best! go and get a weld on speedflow fitting and put it on there! or better still go up in line size! i've seen a few of the guys on the turbo202 forum saying they need bigger fuel lines than 5/16!!

while you have it apart, change the two front injectors to the cylinders that are the richest and see if it moves the issue ?

yeah i have a fuel dampner in the rear but even still fuel pressure needle wobbles a lot in time with injectors at idle stupid cheap aftermarket fuel reg i hate them LOL.im pretty sure it has a tow cam and compression now as it comes on early as hell and falls over early too so maybe a cam with some decient duration might help cylinder pressures.waterpump is also old and wobbly and noisy so it may have even got hot its got to 200 in traffic on the aftermarket gauge but runs cold when moving
