Could someone please tell me the best way to learn how to tune the delco 808 with the navram and tuner pro.

Is there a dvd to teach newbies all about tuning that would be relative to our delco 808's and how to avoid a meltdown?

I recently fitted a turbo to my holden 383 vp v8 and accidently blew the pistons out the mufflers on the first rev. :wtf:
I'm rebuilding the engine and want to give the turbo another go but am very nervous about blowing it up again.

Is there a failsafe way to tune this at home with just a wideband and laptop with the ose12p?

With so many things in the ose12p that can be changed, how does a beginner know which should be touched and what should be left alone?

Thanks.

I highly recommend this book:

The author was a calibration engineer for GM, and its quite detail and easy to read. Half the book is background info teaching the theory, and the other half is how to do it. It doesnt refer to 12p or tunerpro, but once you understand this book you'll know what your doing and our tools will make sense. Good luck!

Heres what to expect from it. Remember its not delco specific, but the terminology is right, and it will teach you what you need to know.

Does this come in pdf, or is it a hard copy. I am also interested in whatever documentation is available, however would prefer an electronic copy over a hard copy

Cheers Antus,

I just ordered a copy.

A $40 book might save me another $2,000 rebuild. :study:
