this car feels fast but I think the ignition breaks down a bit at high boost. has been interesting to tune.

Cammed 304 HZ kingswood Tonner.
Engine: Rebuilt stock 304, Possibly ported heads (running argument, I reckon they look ported, mate reckons they look stock), 286 cam, blue tops, pacemaker extractors into twin 2 1/4 exhausts exiting in front of the rear wheels (great tyre smoke blowers), Ecu is 808, $12P tune, driveline is T5 with borg wanrer diff and 3.9:1 gears.

Cant find a photo yet so just watch the drag run video. in this video, he lost the MR v8 shootout to a VZ chev thats 150hp up on stock. to be fair, the VZ got a shit start and reeled him in real quick at the end, its definitely quick. this run he did 9.54

if you look at the tune, youll notice the phenominal spark advance at 6400, it loves it and doesnt ping. most of the spark map was done at my mates command lol, "MORE MORE MORE, ok its pinging drop it a bit", we really picked up a boatload of top end when we skyrocketed the advance as soon as peak torque dropped off.

Great stuff Jayme.
You have some nice toys to play with.
I've lately been thinking about running an M90 s/c on top of my home made 308 red setup just for another challenge.
The LS1 is still sitting on the stand but the motivation and mods to stick it in the munro, plus i really should keep the red in it is turning me towards the huffer and a 355 stroker down the track.
Either way you've done some nice work there.
cheers...mario
