Re: 4" intake piping
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
well ran it to work today, got a bit more adjusting to do a bit lean but in BLM Range, have adjusted for run home, ive stayed under 50% tps to keep out of PE but around 50% was up in the 7000hz area, it's around 8000hz @ WOT with standard MAF, looking at the log today 2700hz is about minimum so im thinking i could change the start address to say 2000hz and remap the tables to get more top end? There was mention that vs pcm max's out at 300G/S?

No big miss understanding there the maf can handle 512 g/s but it's the mgc that will max out at 1000 & not sure what will happen if it goes passed it?
On the air temp sensor info there is a bit flag that does a 25k pull up if that helps?

as far as i know if the maf goes off the end of the table it just flatlines? The Airtemp sensor seemed to work well, temp usually stays within 2c of ambient on the climate control, it was still pretty close to that, i notice now that it changes better i have the super6 cai so when i get moving it seems to register fluctuation better
Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
here's my second log, readjusted MAF again for run tomorrow, 7000hz @ 50%tps 2300rpm, ill try a bit more throttle tommorow and see what it gets upto.

Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
The MAF frequency is limited to 8191Hz above the minimum/start freq, and yep if you exceed that it just flat lines.
Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
thanks VL, ill see how it goes with a bit more throttle, as like the Throttle Body it may max out the airflow with less TPS so i may not get alot more airflow out of it, i can bump the start round 2200hz mark if need be never seen under that in my logs so far.

I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong but if you raise the maf start point won't that alter the fuelling across the range?
I'm pretty sure it shows you the example of what it changes the fuel by in yodas maf excel sheet?

Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
have to change all the xdf ref points and change the base in the spreadsheet, prob easiet way is to move the tables up.
Re: 4" intake piping - 95MM MAF Tuning
here's a log 23:11 into it did a wot, seems to be flatlining at 8100hz~? i thought the flatline would be at 1890+8191=10081hz
Might bump the tables up one and see if it increases
