Hey guys been reading around here for awhile and trying to learn a little bit
Basicly ive been having a trouble with a missfire problem since i bought the car
it is a Supercharged v6 commodore i added a 10psi pulley then after that the car just started dropping cylinders at high rpm then ill let it coast then itll go back to normal
Ive changed everything electrical plugs leads dfi you name it ive done it to this car
I have swapped the heads from l67 to ecotec i had a broken valve spring and thought it was a bent valve or not seating properly at high rpm
Car has also gone turbo now.
Anyways

Me and delcowizzid are trying to fix this problem i bought the cord off here and got her going with efilive v4
tunerpro rt keeps jumping haywire bigtime.

So it keeps throwing iac fault
my iac sits at 0 on idle then revs to 35 1 digit at a time like a rpm meter then drops off throttle basicly
tested 4 iacs still same problem put the iac into my daily they are working good.
car is also ideling high
Disconnected my Maf
Iac is working like normal sits on idle about 45-50 then goes up from there
The maf Meter is still working after it has been disconnected.

Anyways all help from here will be much appreciated
Looking forward to some great questions/answers
Cheers guys Tommy

Try backing off the throttle stop screw so the IAC steps sit at approx 20 steps in neutral when warm. It may also have a vacuum leak causing the high idle.

im thinking more of a Shortout or something
ive done the disconnecting the battrey then holding the revs over 2k

It idles perfect with the maf disconnected( well not perfect tho its in the 800-870 range )

maf on idles 1500

also the steps sit at 0 in neutral
then maxes out at 35 about 2k rpm

Actually should reword that, screw it out until you see steps. Need to see ~20 steps in neutral. Either the stop screw is not right or you have a vacuum leak if there are 0 steps and a high idle.

Try what Vl400 said... I think your barking up the wrong tree with the MAF also.
