VP V8 Conversion

Post by v6bucket »

This has probably been asked before, Can I convert the VN/VP V8 wiring loom to use a Camira ignition module(same setup as used with a 202) instead of the std V8 Holden module?

Yes, but that difference is handled by the different ignition modules. The 4 wire interface from there back to the pcm is compatible. You just need to set the correct reference angle in the tune.

that would still work, would just mean you'd need to use a blue motor electronic dizzy and modify it for no advance and the camira module!

Thanks fella's, I thought that it could be done. A friend is building a Cobra replica fitted with a 351 Clevo, it has a Bosch electronic dizzy with it so I thought that it could be converted to use a Delco.
