VS V6 PCM 16199728 vs 16210672

Havn't seen a comparision so thought id take some photos, Seems on the 162 pcm's they removed components underneath and added a resistor ontop. Not sure what it's related to. Typically both pcm's were used on N/A's and the 162 on S/C from what ive seen the 161 was never used on S/C.
I have high res shots if anyone wants them to have a look at. 1,2 and 3 are on the same track, so perhaps there was issues with to much resistance in the bank near 1? i have heard of o2 sensor issues with 161 but 162 fixing the issue.
1=1.2k Resistor
2=100k Resistor
3= 805 Capacitor
4= 1.2K Resistor

also just for interest if anyone is, i have a VS Supercharged PCM, it's a 16210672, but is different again to both vs n/a pcm's, it also has an extra chip on it.

I've been tracing some of the VS/VT (16199728 and 16233396) PCM circuits and doing some schematic sketches. They're all very similar, including 16210672. Those 1k2 1/4 watt resistors (shown at 1) are used in digital inputs. Your components 1,2 & 3 are the digital input connected to pin F14 on the blue connector. This is not used on the VS, but is the Diagnostic Test Enable for VT. This connects through to pin 32 on U10, which is read (I think) as bit 6 of address $1800.
Is U7 the extra chip on your supercharged '672? This chip is also on '396 and is connected to pin C11 on the pink connector. It processes the PWM input for the traction control signal.

that makes sense, i hadn't had time to trace anything, from standard to supercharged PCM i counted about 10 components ontop and about 40 odd on the bottom that have been added, the bottom is basicly all filled in.
Yeh the chip U7 marked 9612h is it. There's also extra comonents near the connectors like Q7 and U19
I have high res photos of all 3 zipped about 50mb if anyone wants them.
