adjust fan kicking temp on a vn using vl400 nvram chip

Hi im new to this im currently run a vn series 1 in my 1962 ek and wanted to adjust the temperature that the themo start as the std seem a little to hot for my likings

i have the latest rt and pluging and wanted to knowwhat tables i need to edit to lower the temperature in using the os$12 adx
also and other adjust so the tune suits the motor better
please keep it simple picture would be even better lol

Pretty much like this to start making changes after you have loaded the correct XDF to match your bin, adjusting fan speed as the example...

ok that didnt work as planned

scalers wont open to be edited by double clicking , i right click and can open an opions box to edit adf for bin
this the adf and i sadly its nothinh like vl400 screen shot where have i gone wrong

its because you have dragged the dash window too big and its covering the scaler you are opening.
either close the dash with the X in the top right corner or drag it smaller by positioning your arrow on the edge of the black bar and dragging it down.

ok that was simple

yeah can be a bit of a tradeoff when realtiming between dash size and amount of room for opening xdf items and editing them. laptops with massive screens help

i did notice the differance btw the cars temp guage and the rt dash board was huge until the thermostate opened im guessing the guage and ecu sensors are in different locations, was worried at 1 st because car guage would go to 110 plus but rt dash shows themo opening around 94 deg and then they both drop to a safe limit.
have adjusted fan to kick in at a lower temp

think ill need a bigger fan only running a 10 inch at and it struggles at idle ..

one other item can idle be adjusted via rt interface ? or is the old idle screw arrangement

scroll all the way to the bottom of tables and look for "IAC - Desired RPM in Park/Neutral Vs Battery voltage" about 12 items from the bottom.
you may need to use "IAC - Desired RPM for manual trans Vs Battery voltage" depending if the ecu thinks you are manual or auto.
if the IAC bottoms or tops out you may need to adjust the idle screw to help the IAC get back into a workable range.

eg: if its idling at 1300rpm and you can see on the dash (the full dash not the message6 one you have open in that screenshot) that the "Current IAC Position" is at 0 steps then you need to wind the idle screw out till the IAC comes up to about 20 steps then there is enough range for the computer to properly control the idle.
