ok the car wants to idle with injectors set at 0.0520 for 30lbs injectors from cold to normal operating temps.
but you give it some gas and its lean.... as to be expected with flow so low.. supose to be way higher.
so if i set inject flow to required flow being over 0.0800 what setting/variable do i need to change to get it to idle leaner?

Adjust the VE table cells in the idle region for MAP and RPM. Increase the VE number to richen and decrease the number to lean it out.
You will probably have to do a number of cells around the idle as it interpolates between them.

have a read of the basic tuning guide in my signature, its for $12P but is general enough to be the same theory for any code.

cheers Holden202.

ive done alot of reading, but didnt realise i needed to drop the VE around idle so low.
thought there was some other cold start variable. but was easier than expected! better to ask the question than stuff it completely.
runs perfect now, fitting the 60lbs today since i know how to tune them in now :)

got 60lbs injectors in and so far idling fairly decent but the wideband data appears out by 0.5 - 0.7 approx
so im guessing i need to change the calculation in the adx?? im using a AEM digital A/F 30-4100 0-5v
also ive set the spark advance the same as the spark table and its jumping all over the place in TP.

Yeah you will need to change the wideband settings "VE Learn Params - WideBand 0v AFR" and "VE Learn Params - WideBand 5v AFR". The AEM is 0V = 10:1 AFR and 5V = 20:1 AFR.

Spark changes at idle are likely due to the idle spark compensation, it adjust timing +- to stablise idle RPM.
