thanks for the reply that was my reference material that i was going off i had a blue light come up on the nvram and the usb board light came on but tunerpro still was saying no hardware detected, any thoughts? im concerened i may have made a mistake when installing the wiring for the coms board but i cant be sure

i read something that indicated i need to install the appropriate definitions to get it to communicate to the ecm, is that going to be a vn v6 definition seeing as how thats what im trying to get to run my 4 cyl or do i need a 4cyl definition?

You will need to use the 12P V111 XDF and ADX which can be found here .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=356

There is also a PDF guide on setting up and using the plugin for RT tuning in TunerPro here .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=590

thanks so what would be the implications if i was to afix the wires to the wrong locations on the ecm, because i have since read the instructionals and made alterations and the hardware is still undetectable and the download always fails?

Depending what you wire wrong it can do damage, can cause no problem, or might not work properly.

What bin are you running? which xdf and which adx?

It was my software error, my mate wants to delco a v8 rangy but he has this idea about sequential injection is a gt pcm the only sort that will be able to do that, if so is there any security and tunning issues ascosiated to the vt

Sequential injection mainly helps to lower hydrocarbon emissions, there's plenty of high hp motors running non sequential.
you will need a cam angle sensor (as well as the crank angle sensor obviously) to get sequential injection working.
might be easier to run 12P on an '808, should be pretty straight forward to interface with the electronic dizzy

i'd see sequential as a nice to have if its easy enough, if its not, its not worth it ;)
