ok so im still having problems comunicating with the ecm im using OSE12P V111 - 1,2 and 3 bar.xdf and ADX File - OSE_$12PV111_1BAR - Petrol.adx.
i can get it to connect but it still tells me the hardware is not detected, has anyone had previous experience with this happening before?

It always says connected (it goes in to fallback generic mode that supports some generic tunes if it cant detect something it knows about). If it says hardware not detected, then you have a problem with your nvram, the comms board / write pin connection, or your echo settings (lest likely, unless you have changed them).

Can you confirm if the car is in limp home mode or not? What file is on your nvram, and how do you have it aligned? whats your confidence in the electrical connections?

It was loaded with 12P V111 on both banks of the NVRAM. To confirm the NVRAM is working ok have the bin sw jumper installed so the blue LED is on when the key is on), turn the key off and the LED should stay on for ~2 seconds before turning off.

Have you got the plugin loaded? That is what is used for the detect hardware to ID the ECU as 12P. There is a PDF guide to installing and using it in the post here .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/view ... ?f=3&t=590

I hope to get time to shorten them tomorrow and stitch it all up in the coming days, is pointing the injector as directly at the back of the hot valve as possible the go or a bit further up the runner for better atomization,

the best you can aim it at the valve the better, cause it helps cool the valve and also get it right in the cylinder rather than on the port walls!

You need to buy a controller to go with the wideband sensor, it cannot operate on its own. The controller will need to produce a 0-5V analog signal that represents an AFR range (maybe 10-20AFR) that can be wired to the ECU to have displayed in TunerPro. Almost all controllers on the market have an analog output.

There are heaps of threads on here discussing different models of wideband controller, there are HEAPS of choices. One thread would be .. https://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2671
