not being able to emulate

Post by matt »

I started off with the original chip BZPT in a vs V6 ute and i got the matching xdf and adx and i was able to data log and everything worked fine..

Then I put the nvram in with BSTJ and the ute would still run to test it out. I tryed a few different xdf and adx files but it wouldn't connect properly sometimes and when it did the emulation button wouldnt work and it said no hardware detected down the bottom of the screen?

Any suggestions?

hey check that the nvram has a bin file on it like use the stack fuction we had heaps of issues with this. just plug in nvram only if car wont run ya need to stack the bin file.

Ok, just to keep it real, I need to throw in a correction. There is no splitting. There is only stacking, which is one possible way to get the bin file to the right location on the chip for it to work. If the car is in limp home mode, (CEL and fans on, and running like crap) then that might be your problem.
