Analog vss to vt ecu

Wondering about how to convert the old style vss in a c4 trans to a signal the vt ecu will find usefull?

sine wave or square wave, what does the C4 use?

Its a 3 wire gear driven thing

is it a factory unit ? if so do you know what model car it is in ?

Factory unit out of a falcon. Its a c10 trans i cant remember the exact model but its back in the old gt era

well i know next to nothing about fords, so you may need more info .... but if you look here page 15 is the start of ford and might be some help.

1979 model XD Falcon onwards had electronic Speedo. Not sure of wiring though, will have a look and ae what I can find.

Pretty sure its square wave with 80hz at 60kmh from what i read.
Vt uses square wave anyway doesnt it?

The ones out of the later trans read a bit less hz.
Apparently they run off 8v... What voltage does the vt use? Probly have to put a resistor in to drop the voltage
