OSE$12P Settings for V8 Fan Control

Hiya all,

I've noticed that the OSE$12PV111 BIN has a Fan Params - High speed fan ON coolant threshold (5degC hysteresis) setting to turn my fans on but no matching Fan Params - High speed fan OFF coolant threshold (5degC hysteresis) setting. :?:

How would you determine what the BIN settings should be based on the opening value of the thermostat? For example, I have an 88 degrees Celsius thermostat installed and would like to know what settings need setting and to what values in the BIN. Could someone please advise.

Thanks.

Chuff

that 5degC hysteresis is the off point, so when it hits what ever temp you set it to it wont turn off till its 5 degrees under that temperature to stop it cutting in and out constantly. as for temps to cut it in at most people set it to around 95deg. i think the v6 commos are at 98 standard if i remeber

I imagine you'd want the "off" point to be above your thermostat opening point - so if you have an 88* thermostat then the fan ON should be at least 94*
