Vt s1 no inj pulse

Ok guys hoping someone can help out and point me in the right direction.

My mates vt L67 supercharged engine died. He has out in a stock ecotec and gearbox.

The mechanics that did the swap got it to the point of turning over but not firing as the injectors
Are not pulsing.

The mechanics changed the loom from the donor car (vt s2 exec) but still running original computer with a stock vt ecotec tune with vats disabled. Still no go. The ecu has been tested in another car and works fine.

The mechanics used snap on diagnostic tool which also pairs the bCM to PCM and key. Which we re did this afternoon In case it was a problem with the bCM. Still no go.

Now we asked the mechanic if he had checked the Crank angle sensor and apparently he replaced it and tested it with another second hand one but we haven't confirmed this yet.

My understanding from what the mechanic said is that when the car is started it runs in batch fire injection then goes sequential based on reference from CAS. Can anyone confirm this?

My initial reaction is I think it's been wired up wrong or there is something wrong with the DfI or CAS. Any suggestions guys would be appreciated.

Pull a plug and see if there is spark, if there is the CAS is probably ok.
in which case it could be a connection problem between the DFI module and the PCM.
the cam position sensor is the one that tells the PCM which cylinder to squirt fuel into when it goes sequential.

Car has spark. The connection on the DFI looks a bit shitty. So will have a play with that. Is it worth putting the DFI module from the supercharged 6 engine on th eecotec engine in case there is an issue with the DFI?

Thanks for your help guys. The car is sorted but wont tell us what the problem was.

But the problem seemed to be sorted once i sent them the VT V6 wiring diagrams from here to them and suggesting a new ABS from the donor car or DFI from
the original engine.

Yeah we'll I don't think my work mate will be. It's been there since January.

I can't wait to see what's happening with his old engine as it was removed and
Replaced with a ecotec due to a miss firing problem and its still sitting there.
