12202088 OS / 12200411 PCM Lean Cruise Enable (F-Body)

Hello,

I am wondering if anyone here would know how to enable Lean Cruise on a 12202088 OS with a US Vehicle Platform (Specifically F-Body). I have a 24x LT1 conversion running a 411 PCM, which I tune with HP Tuners. HP Tuners will now allow users to enable Lean Cruise. EfiLive will allow users to do this, however they can only save .tun files, which cannot be opened with HP Tuners.

I know this generation of PCM is just now coming on to the scene here, but I know the xdf for the 12202088 was posted. It is possible to allow Lean Cruise to be enabled within TunerPro, or is is possible to produce a 12202088 bin with Lean Cruise enabled?

Thank you

You can use TunerPro to change it.
It's at x29A86 and is a 16bit value; change from 6066 to 4E71 to enable Lean Cruise - then you will have to populate the lean cruise tables.
Then reload and let HP tuners correct the checksum for you.

Does HP tuner let you access all the control parameters other than enabling it? That bin is targeting AFR 17.9....

I just checked in HPT and it won't seem to open a file with an incorrect checksum, so here is a 12202088 file with lean cruise enabled and the checksum corrected so it will open in HPT.

From memory you can full flash in the file darcy prepared then cal flash your file over the top to retain your cal but now with lean cruise.

Darcy,

Thank you very much for finding that bin for me.

The only problem is that with HPTuners, I will need to use another two credits to license that OS on my PCM. But, this should get me Lean Cruise.

It really sucks not being able to hex edit .hpt files. I understand why HPTuners has encrypted the files, but I just want to change one hex flag, not reverse engineer their program.

I just open OS 12202088 with hp tuner 2.23(885) & it has lean cruise options?

On a side note I tried changing another OS to enable lean cruise at 80KMH instead of 412 that it was set to & just that 1 change made 470490 Bytes change!

The tables appear to be available irrespective of whether the flag to allow it is set or not.
The enable/disable flag, located outside of the calibration area, should only be set in Holden calibrations though.

There are TunerPro XDF avaialble for 1220288 OS and could add the LC enable option as well as tables, I don't see them there. But it will do the checksum.

Is there a way to change the speedo output from re tos, to serial on a 2002 F-body PCM, I think it has the same 12200411 PCM as well. Someone from Hp tuners forum told me there is a Boolean on the code to beable to do this. Can it be done using Hptuners file? Thanks for your help! -Jamie
