Oh that is so cool
I've wanted to do a single cylinder, but that looks even better!

...when in doubt, simply throw more electronics at it!
Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine
ok what an exciting day we had the first start on full 808 injection. excuse the mess of wiring, and cable ties holding the injectors in... we were too excited to finish it properly
the VN as you can see, was kind enough to donate some pressurised fuel
in the video we kickstarted it just to prove how easy it was to start, it does actually have a starter motor. we were occasionally holding it on the 7000 rpm limiter, thats the mang mang mang you can hear. doesnt sound lke its revvin very hard... tho id say its just coz its only got 2 cyls. @ 6000rpm thats 116 bangs a second, im used to the v8 @ 6000rpm being 466 bangs per second (if my maths is right)
its got no exhaust which made it very hard to tune lol, so we called it a day, next to get the exhaust made, then in goes hte wideband and some static tuning, then whack it in the go kart

Is there anything the delco cant do! haha Runs pretty good considering the total lack of tuning. Prob better than the carby, the idle control is sweet too. Nice work

Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine
its moments like these that send that feeling of satisfaction through you, that all the hard work to get it converted was totally worth it
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

found a youtube video with a tacho off one of these that redlines at 10000rpm.. might be using all of the fuel table inthe old delco after all cant wait to get this thing driving now.
Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine
What about adding the v6 delco coils to match they were a popular conversion on the kz1300
Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine
yeah I should! might work better
Re: Delcoed 750cc Motorbike Engine
And a hair dryer lol why not go all out.
I had an old kz400 it was twin cylinder but they both fired at the same time is the 750 the same .
I have a kz1300 now it is a 6 cylinder seen them turbo them and add injection would be good to delco it and turbo it who knows maybe one day it will happen.
