Some incredibly talented guys in the US are cutting and splicing LS engines into a V12. Amazing work so I thought I'd share.

Wow! Thats certainly some dedication to the LS range of engines, and some very impressive fab/welding work to stick them back together.

The one they are currently working on will be getting a 1471 Littlefield blower with a custom intake manifold, and might find its way into a long-nosed 240Z
Go the datto! I guess that engine won't fit in anything smaller

have a look at the right of the picture all the half heads and bits and pieces left over
shows just how much work there would be to even weld the heads back together properly!

not to mention welding them in a particular sequence due to hot welds shrinking and warping the joins while cooling. you have to be a master welder to accomplish such a feat.

i've seen some fairly amazing welding jobs on alloy blocks that have thrown a leg out of bed so its all possible
