i need to calibrate injectors and limit revs on my current vs v8 project but don't know how to dump the contents of the crow cam chip, currently it runs great but i want bigger ev6 injectors as the stockies are well over 80% and the revs shoot past the end of the taco.
the car has forged flat tops, shaved n ported heads, stage 3 crow cam, 1.65 yella terra roller rockers, pacemaker extractors, and highflow cats.
any help would be awesome

well you'll most likely find similar results to what I had, i was asked to look at a mates mates car, similar, crow cam package etc with the memcal, i was able to read it in an eprom programmer using an adaptor, however the tune is proprietry and there was no xdf for it so wasn't able to really see what it was anyways.

that one must be newer, cause the one i have looks the same on the right hand side but the left has different eprom.

can't be read in a programmer as some of the at29c010a chip runs through another chip before it gets to the pin header, i could possibly lift the main chip and read it in my adapter but from what your saying there would be no point reading it anyway

with those chips I generally plug the memcal into the ecu and use an aldl cable with VL400's flashtool to read the contents of the bin out. works everytime that way the ecu is decrypting the chip for you.

i don't suppose you have a crow chip (or similar) for stage 3 cam 289/282 that has been converted to a std memcal bin

Crow cams chips are copyright and cant be distributed here.

im guessing hes not actually asking for it to be posted just if someone has it copied over into 12p and seeing as he already has the chip in his possesion its not copy write technically just so it can be modded to suit the new engine mods just so long as he doesnt see or give the 12p version or the original crow chip away

Would need to find out what a stage 3 crow cam is though and see if anything is suitable as a base to tune from.
