where does D1 & D10 physically ground to on vn-vs models?

am going to connect the existing lc-1 to D8, and it mentions in the manual to use a common ground for the ecu and the controller.

currently using two grounds both off the passenger fuel rail, am considering just moving these to wherever the ecu ground is.

i know there is an earth running from the bottom of the coilpack to the engine block, i am assuming this is the one that earths the ecu, but not too sure. what would be the best solution?

was also considering removing the narrowband all together, but from what i have read because it is a heated sensor it will throw a code, so it might be easier just to run them both.

Yes the earth pins you mentioned both mount under the coil pack on pre ecotec.

bottom lug under the DFI without star washes is noisy ground.

Upper lug under DFI with star washer is sensor ground.
