yeah totally agree on the cam! I had a combo that did 11.77 over the quarter with 18psi, i then rebuilt the motor and the only real change was the cam and it then did an 11.71 on 13psi, so that's making a fair but more power at less boost!

and the turbo cam even with bigger duration brought boost on earlier and harder than the previous one!

It goes to the coil signal ground, 4 wires on LS coils - 12V, power ground (high current), trigger and signal ground (or trigger ground, low current).

All the signal grounds from the coils are wired together and join to the signal ground wire on the coil driver module.

Edit:  sorted

VL,

With what u know of the LT-5 module, will this allow use of the LSx coils? I realize we are not replacing the module as would be done with your other unit.

No, it wont work on the LT-5 ignition module.

Thanks. You should have gotten an email from me recently indicating an interest from myself and a friend to try out the MPR unit on our LT-5s. Could make for a good winter project.

Can any one point me in the right direction where to get one of these coil drivers? Cheers

Has anybody actually run this setup on a V6 to see what sort of difference it makes (power/economy)?
