cant connect to tp5 with delco usb
tp5 cant detect aldl cable on start up or if i try to connect to the cable ? i can see it com port and if i test it says cable found and functioning....wtf

need more info. what car, what are you trying to do (log or realtime tune), what method are you using (plugin, or native logging)?

plug in ose145 when i start tp5 it cant detect on start up vr v8 auto,

Can you connect using the flashtool? http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=82 . Setup is vehicle as 'VR in Vehicle', interface as 'USB ALDL' and com port.

You might need to turn echo off in the adx when using the plugin, as the plugin will be handling the echo instead.
