Hi guys, i've noticed my Holden VZ Alloytec V6 is fitted with a Bosch ECU.
I'm after some software to scan and clear fault codes?
Although they need it, i'm not looking to alter the tune at this stage.
If any can help me out i'd appreciate it.

you can do that with a bluetooth elm interface and the app torque on your smartphone. Should be < $30.

Thanks I will look into it.
It's $70 a go here just to get fault code read. Had a stalling issue and check power train light, had it scanned said 1 dead oxy sensor. Changed it out all was good. Now a month later same deal.

TBH have you tried a simple throttle body & upper engine clean?
Just disconnect battery for 20 minutes & should clear fault codes after done!

Throttle body yes, although these electronic ones are very interesting. What do you mean by upper engine?
Is this one you would recommend Antus or is there better?

There is threebond additives for most engine type cleans that work well!
So what do you mean about it's interesting on electronic throttle cleans, you have or haven't?
There is a throttle blade re-learn procedure too but don't remember it all off hand!

I watched the mechanic disassemble it, they're just different than the old vn type. The re learn sounds like what it needs.

i've cleaned my TB a few times, just use carby cleaner and unbolt it from the manifold ....
also give the MAF a clean to with some contact cleaner doesn't hurt.
that said i've done 240,000kms with 1 coil failed engine code.
