work out which cylinders run the leanest/richest and offset that with the injectors that are the top of the class :)

I thought I'd test the theory of current sensing, the only injector I had on hand was an old Bosch low impedence one but it gives a repeatable measurement at least.
I haven't quantified either axis so the numbers are meaningless at this point, but the curve tells the story.

The only shunt I had on hand was 50A/50mV, so I used an instrumentation amplifier to scale the shunt's voltage to something more reasonable.

ive tested 2 injectors 777's which have been US cleaned, reverse flushed and new filters, Under 2.00ms graph. As you can see one wouldn't perform at all under 0.65, these were two injectors out of the same rail. 24.20 Bottom Vs 23.33 Top CC/Min 2500rpm @ 3ms

Out of interest i tested a EV1 973 VS V6 Injector, these flow less down low and 23.01 for 2500rpm @ 3ms

Makes you wonder if they are like that new or starting to loose their finer detail with age!!
