mag's ride

Post by mag »

Here is a pic of my VN Calais. Recent top half respray, courtesy of rear end shunt & some extra panel beater work, has really polished up the exterior. Final touch will be to respray the lower (silver) half.

Stock S1.5 engine & 4 speed auto
CAI
FE springs, Bilstein shocks & rebushed suspension front & rear.
SS wheels
Aftermarket CD/Radio (Sony)
Momo steering wheel
V8 front discs, booster & master cylinder
New carpet throughout

Intended additions include new headlining, slotted/drilled discs, extractors & SC14.

Ignition module has been moved to passenger inner guard, SC mounting brackets fitted & DIY 2 bar MAP ready.

Just been regoed, so have 12 months to complete SC install, pollution & engineering cert. & pass over the pits. Hope to take considerably less than 12 months but, as it is my daily drive, cannot afford it to be off the road for an extended period.

Below is one cause for the delay with work on the VN.
