Test Bench

Hoping someone can help with wiring up a test bench for a VS V6 Auto. I have done the following so far:

Power-
PCM Pins A1, A2, B1, B2 ; Negative terminal on PSU
PCM Pins A8, B8 ; Positive terminal PSU

Data Connector-
ALDL Connector Pin 9 to A3 on PCM
ALDL Connector Pin 5 to Negative PSU terminal
ALDL Connector Pin 6 to B3 PCM

I have the NVRAM board plugged into the PCM and ALDL connector plugged into the PC. TP5 will not detect hardware...

What am I missing??

PS I am trying to test an auto 728 PCM that I have converted to manual using the info at this thread: http://pcmhacking.net/forums/viewtopic. ... 7&start=40
(The NVRAM has the latest Enhanced BIN written to it but no manual flags checked so still in auto mode - does this have any effect on why its not working? Or have I just cooked the PCM during conversion...? LOLL)

Thanks in advance!

Pin A4 needs ign switched 12V.

Pin B3 does not need any connection for data to flow.

Otherwise should be good to go

Thanks for the help guys!! Re-burnt the BIN file with VATS off and Manual flag selected and added pin A4 to +12V terminal
got it going and good news I have successfully converted my auto to manual PCM! confirmed it works now ;)
