I wouldnt go too much below 30psi as a base pressure, the fuel tends to dribble in rather than atomise properly at low pressures. Remember fuel pressure is manifold vacuum referenced, so it can be as much as 14-ish psi less than the base pressure.
Too big an injector just makes it difficult to control fuel at low loads (idle mainly).
low flow injectors
Re: low flow injectors
bit of a update on how things are going
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XH8yn-1krA
its running like a dog no TPS or MAP sensor
and the fuel map is still what ever the ecu came off
so still some work to be done but it works

Re: low flow injectors
nice work
i don't think tps is such a problem but you really need to get a map sensor on there i reckon that should make it alot better running.
dependsing on the ecu its come from the timing will most likely be all over the shop to unless your using the standard ignition ?

No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!

Re: low flow injectors
i have a got a bit more done
but there are still a few kinks in the system
im waiting on a few bit to get back to me from the
machine shop to do some more testing
one thing i was thinking about to day was
the way i set it up there where 2 injector events every cycle
so what ever fuel it was getting it was getting a double shoot of
but i have got on top of that
its fuel only and there is sweet f all to it http://www.wolfems.com/files/W2DV1_1.pdf
so when i get my new TBI v 1.0 back from back from the machine shop
i should be able to get it set up better and fingers crossed running better
as there has been a bit of interest in the idea i might need to set it up on a mega squirt so i can replicate the set up

Re: low flow injectors
ok guy i have not posted much of late
but i have been having a bit of fun with my new toy
found at
MBE MOTOSPORT
the ecu is all but a microsquirt it uses the tuning program with a custom ini file
its been a hell of a lot of fun playing with it and a big learning curve for me as its the first
time i have tuned and thing efi
