Populating fuel and spark maps using numbers from a haltech

Hi all,

I am in the process of changing my engine management back to Delco and selling off my Haltech Platinum Sport GM. I am wanting to use the numbers out of my main fuel and spark tables just as a starting point. I know they will need to change a bit, considering the injector flow calculations and injector dead times ect will probably be a bit different.

Anyway my question is, how do the Haltech's numbers for MAP correlate to the scale in Tuner Pro? The Haltech runs a scale from 100kPa to 0kPa (wide open throttle) . In Tuner Pro it is almost the opposite, going from 20kPa to 100kPa. Is 100kPa in Haltech the same as 20kPa in Tuner Pro and same with 100kPa v's 0kPa at WOT?

Cheers,
Peter

No, they be the same, just layed out the opposite way. You should get reasonable results flipping and scaling to make it fit. VE in delco is 0 to 100% efficiency, so just check the range of the numbers in haltech too, and scale to suit.

Thanks Antus,

I have also been looking at some other bins, so i should have it pretty close once I get it running. I will do some fine tuning from there on the road.

Cheers
