Block flex is peobably totally insignificant but The added rigidity of a rubber bonded alloy gasket and cast alloy sump with internal web bracing can't be ignored

yeah I agree for what your doing its worth the effort if you can make it fit, in my case a stock ecotec with no mods other than exhaust wasn't even worth considering, also the torana needs full rearward pan sump!

I have one already but not liking the lack of room under the sump as it is. The weight of an L67 with all the turbo gear is pretty hefty to have in the front of a nimble Rolla so trying to keep it low as possible and fitting the girdle will put an end to all that quick smart........as much as I want to use it.

Options from here are cross member spacers along rice rca to go with that or sump mods. Sump mods will help with going back further but not down as there's a crank inside the sump lol.

I've got to be the luckiest bloke. Upon deciding to find a stronger BW78 centred R31 skyline diff to convert to KE70 trailing arm pick up points, what pops up on facebook for sale but one already done........exactly as I'd planned. All freshly bushed with whiteline sway bar and pan hard rod for $300. Was interstate but lucky for me I've got a mate 1.5hours away that was happy to go pick it up for me. What an effin champ! :punk:

Nice dual header tank for both the engine coolant which will have a remote thermostat and also the W2A intercooler system
