KE70 project

Post by krusty »

Some of you may remember the VT I "was" doing but something better came up so I moved that along to a good home and the guy is now doing a TT LS1 track car blah blah blah

Picked up this turd cup of a KE70 with lots of good bits on it and already low level prepped for track work. Dangers of having cans with mates that have cars lying around hey :turbo:

Had a nug of LS1 sitting in it when I got it so fixed that quick smart :)

With some good help from a mate too

Hopefully there won't be too many updates as I intend to knock it all over in January after some hols. Updates should consist of in car circuit footage and a couple drag timeslips from Heathcote 1/4 mile and Bairnsdale 1/8 mile

The reason for going to the rolla was simple. Massive after market support for the chassis on these things plus it weighs just over half of what the VT did

Ordered rear equal length 4 link set up with lateral/ pan hard rod and fully adjustable front arms too. After I get off the 2 minute noodles from having no cash Wilwood brakes are next. Again, 1/3 the price of same level for the VT

Should make it easier to fit the R31 live axle with BW78 centre

Nah, running external W2A. Piping is around 1m total length between turbo and throttle with a plenum volume reducer inside
