That's the down side to local cars in getting nice suspension components compared to global cars.
I weighed an HSV 20 inch spare wheel years ago at work and it came in at 32kg and said to the engineer "hows a female or even a light framed male gonna reach into the boot
then lift the 32kg wheel straight up and out of the spare wheel tub without doing your back"?
I got no reply.
HSV: Heavy Slow Vehicle They always look great but form over function never tickled my fancy
Since getting rid of the VT I was doing for track have been a bit spoilt for choices tbh. Sooking about 11.2kg wheels is sorta Princess bub
ha anyone ever measured a commodore chaser rim ??? I recently got weld racing pro stars for my car and although I don't know the difference, there is a noticeable difference in the weight of them over a chaser rim!
No matter what the question is, the answer is always more horsepower!
Got a chance to fit up the suspension on the weekend. Also fitted in the R31 bw78 diff.
Diff lash is good and gear set pretty mint but it's been welded so on the hunt for kaaz centre now to rebuild the lot and properly be able to take advantage of all the solid mount suspension.
Fitting a seal and bearing kit to the diff next weekend along with some vs commo arp wheel studs for the rear and still trying to track down an arp set for the front too. Only 4 studs and decent torque along with unforgiving suspension and brakes has me alert

Pretty keen to finish this now the suspension is done. Next couple weeks will involve going over it with a welder and strengthening anything that's prone to flex/ cracking.
