New member here, thought id join here as I'm thinking about doing an EFI 202 from scratch and maybe even having a Hyundai iload diesel turbo on the side of it, but that's a fair way down the track, current drive is a Holden HJ Ute which i did a full rebuild on with a bog stock 202, (still has points dizzy), hopefully one day that will change, but it pulls well all the way to 4500, but than the points bounce, so i never really push it hard, only a 4 speed and 3:55 Banjo diff
I'm only a young Bloke, 17, 18 soon, the old man is a mechanic and has been for the last 35-40 yrs, was also GMH dealer once so we still have a lot of the old delco stuff lying around, done heaps of engine conversions, got a fair bit of wiring experience and understanding of electrics
put a VN v6 into a Mazda e2200 Ute (little dual wheels), joined VN loom and Mazda loom together,
rewired my Ute, that was easy as there wasn't many wires
and did a full loom for dads Hot rod, Bedford Ute with VR v6, that was abit more interesting, as there's computers for the door openers, gear indicator and whatever else we put in it,
I've had a fair bit to do with carbies and tuning them but never tuned EFI before, had scan tools on things and run tests but that's about it, I'm a good listener, i guess that's how I've learnt what i have,
keen to learn more about the delco computers, as we are a Holden family, and maybe abit on the early falcon stuff,
