Yes, we are right up against it over here,
only thing to do is try and source one in your neck of the woods, or
someone said ,,, re - chip a 6 cyl one.
Is that easy, do you buy the chip new ?

Oh, in another post, I mis spelled a couple of words

I wrote : I'll X that bride ( which I would gladly do, as long as she isn't mine ) .... should be ' X that BRIDGE '

Ta ... I checked that link out, and I can handle that .

If I found a VR - S ecu, it's no use to me ? as it won't take the $12p ?

it will. you need a uv eraser and a gq-4x to save a tune permanent on it. Or an ecm nvram and usb comms for realtime editing. See the guides under the FAQ link up in the top right of the screen for more info.

$12P will work on VN/VP (all the same) or VR manual, not VR auto ($11P and electronic auto) and VS V8 auto is the same as VR auto, and VS V6 is totally different again.

Not the computer, but a VR auto memcal is large enough and the right form factor to re-write it with 12P and put it in an '808. Would need to mod the retres for 4cyl though (netres info also in FAQ). But not real time tunable which is probably what you want if you go 12P.

OK, I have found a 808 computer for a 6 or 8 cyl .... You chaps have supplied a diagram on how to go to 4 cyl

I'm searching for sensors etc.

can I use any other jap or euro sensors, injectors, ignition bits, like crank wheel discs , map and tps etc

so once I get up and running, :D :D will this system let me do real time adjustment ?

not only is it an old engine, but an old geezer
